Located in Hanoi, Viet Horizon Travel is operated by 5 young Vietnamese men who have had more than 28 years working in tourism. We were born a few years after the war ended. A lot of our family members were involved in the war in some way or another, some are still working for the army and then there are some who went to the war and never come back. But we don’t know foreigners as enemies. We know them as friends who come here and visit our big home, Vietnam. To show them our Vietnamese hospitality, we take them around to see the beauty of our country and the friendliness of our culture.

We worked for both Vietnamese-owned and Western-managed tourist companies so we understand the things western tourists visiting our country need. We also acknowledge and, where possible, attempt to meet the needs for ecological awareness, environmentally friendly and responsible tourism. All the tour itineraries we create are based on what we’ve learnt, experienced and seen with our own eyes.

We offer various kinds of tours from the northern mountains, Sapa, down to the bay of Ha Long or even the remoter parts of the country. In short, we can go to nearly every part of Vietnam, vertically and horizontally.

Almost all of our tours are private tours. It means that you have your own transportation, accompanied by your own guide. All our guides are mainly English speaking (other languages can be acquired), honest, a good sense of humor and always give you advice to help you while traveling in Vietnam. They are people we know well and have been friends with for some years. They have all the necessary accreditation & have studied & graduated from the Tourism Institute of Ha Noi.

When do you start? Sorry we can’t answer that question because we really don’t have a fixed departure time. We leave whenever you’re ready. It’s up to you to tell us when you are ready to travel.

At Viet Horizon Travel, we lay everything on the table. You know well what you get before putting your hand in the pocket. What transportation you will be in, the accommodation you use for the night and any important information you need to know.

We call it “no funny business!”
