Mai Chau 2 days
Day 1: Hanoi - Mai Chau (L & D)
You will be picked up from your hotel at 8.30 am for 4 hours bus ride through the breathtaking sceneries of Vietnam country side. Rice paddy fields, kids on buffalo … are our main stop for Kodak moment. Upon arrival, you’ll have free time wandering around or browsing the shops selling the local handicrafts products.
The host will welcome you with a tasty lunch and then you will be of for a boat trip in Ma river (weather permit). The village at the other side of the river is still untouched with tourists which give you a great opportunity to see and to understand their culture. We usually had a great fun time with them as, to some of them, it was their fist time to see a “huge” Westerner. And, why don’t you try to learn some of the local words to interact with them. At night, there is an optional activity to join the folk songs and dance performed by the local artist.
Day 2: Mai Chau - Hanoi (B&L)
Waken up by the sound of roosters, you can then watch the early life of the village by walking around or pop in the local market. Our guide will take you for another walk to Van village, another chance for further understanding the villagers’ life. We’ll set off for Hanoi after lunch leaving behind the love and memories of the 2 relaxing days. We’ll arrival in Hanoi approx. 5.00 pm.
