DUONG LAM - ANCIENT VILLAGE (Two days - Home stay)

Day 1: (Lunch & Dinner)

You will be picked you up from your hotel and travel through the beautiful countryside of Hanoi where, along the way, we will briefly visit the Van Phuc Silk Village and Son Tay Old Castle for some photo opportunities before arriving at our home stay.

In the afternoon, we visit paddy fields, vegetable gardens, fish farms and experience Vietnamese farm culture. You can join the farmers helping them with their work before returning to our home stay in the late afternoon to help the owner to prepare our dinner or just to relax. It is like a cooking class as we learn about some of the delicious Vietnamese traditional cuisine. We will stay overnight in an ancient house which is over 300 years old.

Day 2: (Breakfast & Lunch)

You will wake to peaceful tranquility of a traditional Vietnamese village. Our clients usually get up early and stroll around the village. It’s a great chance to see the early morning village life and get to know the farmers who are on the way to the paddy fields. Even with limited English language skills, the farmers still manage to communicate and enjoy time talking to each visitor. After a local breakfast, we will cycle around to visit Mia Pagoda, Ngo Quyen and Phung Hung Temple.

After lunch, our guide will return you to Hanoi. On the way to town, we will stop at spectacular bonsai garden before arriving at your hotel around 4.00 pm.
