CON DAO ISLAND (3 days - 2 nights)
You will be picked up from your hotel on day 1 and transferred to Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh City for an hour flight to Con Dao. On arrival, the resort will organize a transfer to their place. Very famous in the past, Con Dao Island was used by French and American as a place to keep “enemies” in brutal conditions.
Apart from that war fact, the island offers an escape into a great outdoors, taking you the noise, pollution and people of the city into a world of deserted beaches and peaceful countryside The island also provides a wide range of activities: trekking, sightseeing tours, snorkeling … Food options are limited as it needs provision from main land. Pizza, hamburgers, and any other western foods are off the menu. Think seafood, hotpots and salad. Try some freshly caught squid, mackerel or shrimp, served with a mountain of white rice.
You will travel back to Ho Chi Minh City by air in the afternoon of day 3.
