Except as otherwise expressly agreed, Viet Horizon Travel and its customers agree that the terms and conditions for the services rendered by Viet Horizon Travel to the customer, whether on an individual or a tour basis  shall be governed by the Booking Conditions set out below and that the said Booking Conditions shall form an entire part of the service contract, whether verbal or written, entered into between Viet Horizon Travel and its customer.

PRICE

All prices quoted to Viet Horizon Travel customers are on a net basis and in United States Dollar. Viet Horizon Travel warrants that the prices or rates quoted to the customer are correct at the time of issuance of the customer’s quotation and/or invoice but are subject to change in line with market, tax or currency fluctuation, with or without prior notice. However, when a deposit or full payment is paid then no changes can be made in terms of price.
All our accommodations are based on twin share. If you travel in a group of three people, we will provide a triple room. If the 3rd person would like a single room for her/himself, we will apply the single supplement condition.

RESERVATION AND CONFIRMATION

Reservations are to be made to our office or to our appointed branch in Vietnam or oversea. Upon confirmation of a reservation, a 30% (thirty percent) deposit is required, and the total package tour price should be paid in full 15 days (fifteen days) prior to client's arrival or starting date of the tour, or Viet Horizon Travel may at their sole discretion cancel the bookings without any refund of sums already paid to Viet Horizon Travel by the customer. Viet Horizon Travel also reserves the right to change any arrangement (including tours, programmes, prices and services) in the best interest of its Client/Agent, with or without prior notice.

PAYMENT

Except as otherwise agreed by Viet Horizon Travel, customer’s payment shall be executed by cash or credit card. Except for cash payment, a service charge may be applied. In cases where credit facilities have been agreed with the customer, payment shall be executed by swift or telegraphic transfer to the appropriate Viet Horizon Travel bank account. Any bank charges levied by the sending bank relating to transfers to Viet Horizon Travel  must be paid by the customer. Our bank account details are as follows:

CANCELLATION

- Cancellation by the traveller
Loss of monies paid applies to all cancelled reservations. The date of trip cancellation is the date on which the written cancellation is received by Viet Horizon Travel. The loss of monies paid is as follows, per person:

30 days or more prior to trip departure - Loss of deposit
Between 15 and 29 days prior to trip departure - 50% of total booking cost or loss of deposit; whichever is the greater
15 days less to departure - 100% of total booking cost
No refunds will be made if you voluntarily leave a trip for any reason after the trip has begun. Refunds will be at the discretion of Viet Horizon Travel if you are involuntarily forced to leave a trip for any reason. No refunds will be made for any accommodation, transport, sightseeing, meals or services not utilised. Please note that these conditions apply to Viet Horizon Travel land content only. Different fees may apply to airline tickets. You are strongly advised to take out cancellation insurance at the time of booking which will cover cancellation penalties in certain circumstances (Note: such insurance will not cover a change of mind).

- Cancellation by Viet Horizon Travel
Viet Horizon Travel reserves the right to cancel any trip before it is guaranteed to run, but will not cancel a tour less than 30 days before departure. A trip is guaranteed to run once it has one fully-paid traveller. This applies to departures within the validity range. Viet Horizon Travel reserves the right to cancel any trip, including a guaranteed trip, at any time prior to departure due to terrorism, natural disasters, political instability or other external events which make it unviable for Viet Horizon Travel to operate our planned schedule. If Viet Horizon Travel cancels a group adventure trip on which you are holding a fully paid booking you may choose between an alternative trip or a full refund. The company is not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking such as visas, vaccinations, non-refundable flights or loss of enjoyment, etc. If the alternative trip chosen is of a lower value than that originally booked then you are entitled to a refund of the price difference. If the alternative tour chosen is of a higher value then you will pay the difference in price.

LIABILITY

Viet Horizon Travel shall always do its utmost to provide services to the best of its ability and to the satisfaction of the customer. It is the understanding of the parties that Viet Horizon Travel acts as an intermediary between the customer and airlines, hotels, transport operators and other contractors providing services to the customer. Viet Horizon Travel shall in no event be liable to the customer, by reason of breach of services or unsatisfactory services provided to the customer by third parties or by way of indemnity or in tort or otherwise, for any loss, injury, damage, delay, change in schedule or other adverse events which are beyond the control of Viet Horizon Travel and/or sustained by an act or default of any person or company providing services to the customer. The customer warrants that Viet Horizon Travel shall not be responsible and/or liable for additional expenses and/or damages incurred due to any delay, accidents, natural disaster, political action or unrest.

CLAIMS

All disputes, claims and litigation regarding the Services shall first be settled by way of negotiation and mutual understanding. Please note that you can always have a talk with our local representative in order to find the best solutions for any unsatisfactory events. In the event such negotiation and mutual understanding should fail, the disputes, claim or litigation shall be finally settled by headquarters in Hanoi, Vietnam. All claims must be submitted in writing within 30 days after the end of the services.
